For outdoor activities and country pursuits Kinloch House Hotel is within easy reach of some of Scotland’s best estates for shooting/stalking (Glamis/Scone/Airlie) and salmon beats (River Tay & Isla). We have first-hand knowledge and excellent contacts with the best suppliers who are eager to share their sport and experience with you. Outdoor Activity breaks including shooting, stalking, fishing and golf can be arranged for the complete beginner or the more experienced.
For the golfer, Rosemount, St Andrews, Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and Gleneagles are all within easy reach. For the more leisurely minded there are many wonderful walks in the area, from gentle strolls in bluebell woods or along the banks of the River Tay to strenuous hikes in the Angus Glens with Loch Brand and Loch Muick where Queen Victoria stayed.
Throughout the year there is much to look forward to from carpets of snow drops, daffodils and bluebells in the spring to the majestic summer borders and the vibrant reds and golds of Autumn. Over five hundred and fifty five fragrant roses have been planted in the garden which are a delight the senses. Even in the depths of winter, guests can enjoy a stroll in the walled garden and find the perfect seat on which to reflect.
