For the more leisurely minded there are many wonderful walks in the area, from gentle strolls in bluebell woods or along the banks of the River Tay to strenuous hikes in the Angus Glens with Loch Brand and Loch Muick where Queen Victoria stayed.
Throughout the year there is much to look forward to from carpets of snow drops, daffodils and bluebells in the spring to the majestic summer borders and the vibrant reds and golds of Autumn. Over five hundred and fifty five fragrant roses have been planted in the garden which are a delight the senses.
